Locavore Feast Schedule

At this time, the Locavore Feasts will be limited to 4 other people, due to temporary space restrictions. It will be held at Blue Moon Keep, at 7:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to help shop and cook for the Feast.

June 11, 2006: Sunday. Our first Locavore Feast.

Menu

Antipasto tray with yaghurt cheese dip

Grilled Free Range Chicken

Grilled peppers, onion, new potatoes, carrots

Fresh green beans simmered with locally raised bacon

Served on a bed of freshly made pasta from local wheat

Garnished with fried squash blossoms

Feather Rolls served with local honey and butter

A side salad of pea tips, red leafed lettuce, tomatoes, scallions, calendula blossoms

Dessert: a black and strawberry pie served with lemon lavender sorbet

October 7, 2006: Menu will be posted by October 1st.
